One of the most popular methods to enjoy the amazing benefits of essential oils is through diffusion or aromatherapy. Our sense of smell is so impactful and contributes to our mood, health, and overall well being. Through the sense of smell, all your vital organs of your body awaken and thrive.

Aromatherapy has been made easy by the introduction of a diffuser. A diffuser is a machine that releases the oily goodness into the air without overheating, so you can baste in their lovely qualities effectively. Simply add distilled or filtered water to your diffuser and add drops of oils of your liking! Typically around 3-4 drops.

When shopping for a diffuser, here are a few things to consider.

  • The size of the area you want to cover in your home. Are you going to be diffusing in a bedroom, living room, an office? How big is this area? You want to make sure you have an adequate diffuser to meet the needs of the area you want to use it in.

  • How long do you want it to diffuse in a setting? Some diffuse longer than others. If you want to diffuse at night for sleep, I’d get one that diffuses for a longer period of time.

  • Automatic shut off! I think most models have this feature now. But you want something that will automatically shut off when it runs out of water or is set on a timer. Don’t want any chance of accidents, ya never know! And guys, diffusers are so much safer than candles - and less toxic of course! 👍
