2020 was a tough year for me - the solitude, some relationships slipping away, the fear of the virus. But at the same time, it was a confirmation of the strength of my family. If I have learned anything through 2020, it is that family is first! But if you want to be the absolute best part of yourself for your family, you need to be the absolute best part of YOU! And you need to believe it. That’s what 2021 is for me. It’s my game changer, my next chapter, my next horizon. I need to get back to believing in myself, loving myself, and being proud of the individual, wife, and mother I am!

It’s now the 14th of January – we're about halfway through the month and I'm feeling fine! My husband and I are doing a couples challenge and January's focus is fitness, what better way to kick off the year right?! The rules - no booze (ahh!), 100 reps of an exercise (he’s doing 50 pushups and 50 sit ups and I’m doing 50 squats and 50 sit ups!), and 1 gallon of water. It’s been fun and we both feel great! We both have been really pushing ourselves and working out almost every day of the week on top of that! It’s amazing what a little bit of movement can do for not only your body, but your mind.

My 2021 goals are geared towards myself primarily and they are simple!

- Move more!

- Mediation!

- 1 Book per month!

- Wake up early (this is a tough one for me considering my girls are currently waking up randomly multiple times a night and then getting up at the butt crack of dawn haha – what is up with that?!)!

- Be a great mom, wife, and teacher! (I’ll be starting homeschooling with Remy this year – wish me luck!)

- Schedule my day effectively!

- Read, learn and practice more yoga!

- Set up a wellness blog/business! * Hey, here I am!
