Self care recipe: Tea tree foaming face wash

Self care Sunday! It’s so important to take care of ourselves, especially the skin we live in. Our body is our temple, nourish it!

So I’ve been dreaming up a tea tree foaming face wash for some time now and finally started concocting. I think that’s one of the things I enjoy most about a natural, low-toxic lifestyle, it’s so fun to experiment with different ingredients and then come up with something that is good for you! You know what’s in it, there’s no secrets and you can proud of what you created! So I introduce to you, the tea tree foaming face wash - made by yours truly!

I’ve been using it twice daily for about a week and a half now and I’m happy with the results! This wash can help with acne, scaring, dryness, and oily skin since it not only includes tea tree oil, but also frankincense and patchouli- which are fantastic for your skin. It leaves my face feeling clean, refreshed, and smooth! Give it a try!

1/4 C Castile soap

1 T jojoba oil

1 T aloe Vera gel

1/2 t vitamin e oil

15 drops frankincense

10 drops tea tree

5 drops patchouli

Combine ingredients above in a similar pump bottle and fill with water until about 3/4 full. When applying, you just need one good pump. Lather and apply in a circular motion on your face. Rinse well and pat dry!
